I'm so excited!
This year was difficult for me and thought I wouldn't have the energy to participate in any events. But just a month before the deadline I managed to make a drawing of Golden-Headed Lion Tamarin. I always liked these creatures but I was further inspired to find so many interesting facts about their characters!
Today I am so excited I have no words to express as my drawing is short-listed to hundreds and then to a dozen of finalists of the year! I am also invited to a private view exhibition in Norwich. It would be so amazing to see all the exceptional collections in person!
Also, I am invited to the annual event at the Royal Geographical Society in London where the winners and runner-ups in all the categories will be announced. Last year I was dreaming to visit an exhibition Oxo Tower Wharf but it was cancelled due to lockdowns. Hopefully this year it will be possible! I am so jubilant to be a part of this huge project and so honoured to get to the final for a second time in a row!!! It`s unbelievable!
Special thanks to Explorers against extinction for the chance to make a difference in this world using our time and talents. Later on, I will share the link where all these beautiful and unique works will be auctioned from October. Special thanks to @joelsartore ©Joel Sartore/ National Geographic Photo Ark for his inspiring photos and permission to use them.
