"Sadness" selected for SAA finalists - Artists of the Year 2021

I've got an email this morning from the SAA competition "Artist of the year". I've got into the final!!! I am absolutely excited! I was reading few times to be sure I've got it all right. Although the final judging is yet to take place as a finalist my painting is eligible for the People's Choice Award.

Now I'm happy I made it back then.
